Some Further and Higher Education Institutes have purpose-built crèche and childcare supports on campus.  Some HEI’s also have financial support for childcare, for details contact the access or mature student officer in your college.

If the College does not have a crèche it is necessary for students to make their own arrangements. A list of community-based childcare services is available from the Student Services office or from your local Childcare Committee.

Most Higher Education Institutes offer a childcare subsidy to help you with the cost of childcare. Please contact Student Services office for further details.

The Childcare Employment and Training Scheme (CETS) offer financial assistance for students on ETB courses and courses under VTOS, BTEI and Youthreach. For further details please contact your local Childcare Committee.
